Indeed, US billionaires’ wealth have soared since pandemic, in the contrary, the poor campaign for a rise in the national minimum wage. The connotation is that inequality is a pre-existing condition in US.

When we talk about American dream, we mean that is the ability to pull yourself up by your bootstraps. But in the real world, the tension makes it harder to from rags to riches. For the low income bracket, deadlocked by attendant recession after pandemic.

Authoritarianism still existing in our life. From protest in Belarus we see the rage of people have been lighted.

Today is 12th anniversary of Beijing Olympic. Dated back to the night of 08/08/2008, I was came back from Haikou to Dongfang, with my grandparents. That is a clear memory in my life. Not for a grand time in China, but for a time for me accompanied by my grandparents.
