Yesterday, I watched an Estonian movie 1944, in which Estonian in the 21st century show deep compassion for and dedication to all those who fought and died for independence in the last century. In the year 1944, Estonia faced advances from both the Russian Red Army and Nazi forces. It was not the first time Estonia become the battle line between German and Slav, European and Russian. It indicated that the war was not only a war between Fascism and Communism but a fratricide war among Estonian. After WW II, the Soviet Union occupied Estonia. Until in 1991, the Soviet Union collapsed. (That is a peace of good news, god bless human civilization.) Then, the Estonian flag can fly in Estonia, again.
